POC Bike Helmets

Poc is a Swedish company that strives to save lives and minimise injuries through advanced lab research backed technology . Poc helmets are designed for different types of cycling, from road racing to mountain biking to commuting.

One of the distinctive features of poc helmets is their use of MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System), a technology that reduces rotational forces on the brain in case of an angled impact. MIPS is integrated into many poc helmets, such as the Tectal and Kortal models. These helmets also have other features, such as aerodynamic designs, lightweight materials, adjustable fit systems and enhanced ventilation.

Popular POC Helmet Models

  • The Tectal: A trail-oriented helmet that offers more coverage than a traditional mountain bike helmet. It has a reinforced EPS liner for high-impact protection and a unibody shell construction for durability. It weighs 340 grams for sizes M-L.

  • The Kortal: A full-face helmet that offers maximum protection for downhill and enduro riders. It has a detachable chin bar, a breakaway visor and an NFC medical ID chip. It weighs 640 grams for sizes M-L.

  • The Otocon: A versatile helmet that can be used for road cycling, commuting or gravel riding. It has a slim profile, an EPS liner with optimised density zones and SPIN (Shearing Pad INside) pads for rotational impact protection.

  • The Omne: This helmet has two versions: the Omne Lite and the Omne Ultra. The Omne Lite is aimed at performance cyclists and weighs 260 grams for size L. The Omne Ultra is aimed at adventure cyclists and has additional features such as an integrated light mount and reflective details.
