We’re not ones to point fingers, but if you’ve not been busy this year, it’s your own fault. Between Divisional and National SCCA® RoadRallies, no fewer than a dozen events have been hosted so far, offering those looking for on-road challenges the thrill only RoadRallies can provide. But the year’s not done yet, so grab your car, notepad, and teammate and register for one (or two…or three or four or five) of these upcoming National RoadRallies.
Between now and the end of September, five National events will fill your weekends with excitement. Then if you keep reading, we’ve got a bonus event you won’t want to miss.
It All Starts in Wisconsin
The July 27, 2024, Coulee Classic National Tour RoadRally, hosted by Land O’Lakes Region kicks off in Menomonie, WI, located barely an hour east of Minneapolis. A beautiful town that’s just shy of 17,000 residents, the city is centered around Lake Menomin and features incredible roads that are sure to offer as many challenges as they do amazing views.

The Upper Peninsula
Sept. 6-7, 2024, brings two National Tour rallies that you’re undoubtedly familiar with – and if you’re not familiar with them, this is as good a year as any to get acquainted.
Press on Regardless – hosted by Detroit Region and headquartered on Friday in St. Ignace, MI, and Manistique, MI, on Saturday – is a bucket list event. First hosted in 1949, Press on Regardless is America’s oldest continuously run rally, at one point becoming a part of the FIA International Championship rally for several years. Now an event anyone can enter and run in their street car, this year’s Press on Regardless tackles Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, starting a stone’s throw from the magnificent Mackinac Island and winding west toward Indian Lake.
Like every year, this year’s Press on Regardless is a can’t miss.
Circle Back to the Badger State
The final two National RoadRallies of September come on the Sept. 21-22, 2024, weekend.
First up in this duo is the Sept. 21 Oktoberally National Course RoadRally, hosted by Milwaukee Region in Wisconsin Dells, WI. This 180-mile-long time-speed-distance National Course rally offers challenges that even the most experienced RoadRallyists will find difficult. In fact, Milwaukee Region is recommending that those who’ve previously never participated in an SCCA RoadRally skip this one.
The following day brings Milwaukee Region’s Badger Coulees National Tour RoadRally. This Sept. 22 event also kicks off in Wisconsin Dells. Badger Coulees will also challenge even the most experienced rallyists, with hidden control locations that require contestants always be on time.
