MetLife Stadium (New Meadowlands Sports Complex) Only Snell SA/M 2015 and 2020 rated helmets are allowed at this event Camping is allowed Please download the Sportity app for important event communications. You can utilize the QR code here or visit the Google Play Store or Apple AppStore for download. The event password is 24NJPS. National Solo Tech Inspection and Check-In will occur at the Lincoln Driver's Center unless specified elsewhere in the event details. Look for the SCCA-branded canopies set up near the Region trailer. A Chief Technical Inspector (CTI) will be appointed as per the National Solo Rules, Section 5.6. The role of the CTI will be to oversee the process and if needed conduct additional inspections of vehicles. A Self-Tech Inspection form will be available online before the event as well as on-site. The tech form can be found on this page in the section located on the right side of the page or below this dropdown if on mobile that also contains links to online registration, live timing, and worker descriptions. Simply download the form and print a copy to bring with you to the event – ONE FOR EACH DRIVER. If there are NO changes to the information that was used to register on MSR, they will be checked in for the event at Tech using the self-tech form and they can then return to the paddock. If there ARE changes to the registration information that was used to register on MSR, they will KEEP their tech form and exit the Tech area with their vehicle. They must bring the tech form to the SCCA Timing Trailer at the designated time shown in the event schedule to complete any changes and be checked in for the event. Event supps will no longer be handed out when you check in but are available by request. Event Details (aka Supps) will be posted online on the Event page as well as on-site in the following areas: Tech/Impound/Lincoln Driver’s Center & on the Timing Trailer. Schedules shown on the SCCA Online Event Page are the official schedules for the event. Work assignments will also be posted on the Event Page. A report showing the class listing will be created and it contains information about competitors’ registrations, including work assignments. Information will be available when you tech if you ask. If you have NO CHANGES to your registration, you can proceed through tech, turn in your tech form and you will be checked in for the event. If you HAVE CHANGES to your registration, you can proceed through tech, but you will need to KEEP your tech form and make your way to the SCCA Timing Trailer at the designated time for registration changes (see the event schedule for times). You will be checked-in for the event at that time. Once check-in is closed for the event, a finalized worker sheet will be posted online to the Event Page (approx 8:15am). Please check there to verify that your work assignment has not changed due to class changes, cancellations, etc. Any work assignments that have changed will be highlighted in light grey. A. GENERAL RULES: This event is held under the SCCA Solo Rules and SCCA ProSolo National Series Rules, plus the rules and procedures found on this event page, using all Open, Open Index, and Ladies Index National classes and National Supplemental classes, as defined by the 2024 ProSolo Rules. All class changes must be approved by the Chief Steward or their designee once check-in closes. B. COURSE WALKS: Courses will be open for walking at the following times. See Event Specific communications for more detail or specific days if the event is a multi-event weekend. Friday: 6:15 pm – 7:30 pm C. SCALES: Scales will be available to the competitors during the event free of charge under the supervision of Impound. You will be restricted from using the scales when they are being used by Impound. Consult with the Chief of Impound if in doubt. D. SAFETY: E. ORDER OF RUNNING: F. PENALTIES FOR INCORRECT NUMBERS OR BARCODES: G. MINIMUM CLASS SIZE: Refer to ProSolo Rules Rule 20.8.C G. PROTEST AND APPEALS: Refer to ProSolo Rules Rule 20.10.P and ProSolo Rules Rule 20.10.Q H. COURSE MARKERS: Refer to Solo Rules, Rule 7.8 I. RESULTS: Provisional results will be posted in impound after completion of all runs for the heat. Results will be final 30 minutes after provisional results are posted. Check final results to make sure the manufacturer is correct for your car and tire brand. Official results will be available on the event page at www.scca.com. J. TROPHIES AND AWARDS: Trophies will be awarded on Sunday (2nd ProSolo competition day on a multi-event weekend) after the last runs of regular class competition in Impound. They will not be mailed. If you leave the event early, appoint someone to receive your award. K. EVENT SCHEDULE: Actual schedule may deviate from the published schedule due to unforeseen circumstances during the event. It is the driver’s responsibility to listen to the PA system, refer to event communications, and pay attention to activity on course. L. COMMUNICATIONS: Please download for the Sportity app for on-site communication by the event officials. You can find the Sportity app on Google Play Store or on the Apple AppStore. The event password, once established, will be found in the "Location & Site Details" dropdown and in pre-event communication. Announcements will also be made over the PA system. Live timing can be found at sololive.scca.com. A. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY: Refer to ProSolo Rules Rule 20.6 B. ANNUAL SCCA WAIVERS: It is highly recommended that you complete your annual waiver ahead of the event. Once completed, your annual waiver will show as a designation on the back of your membership card and is valid for the calendar year. This can then be shown at the waiver station instead of signing the SCCA waiver, both at regional and national level events. Instructions for completing your annual waiver can be found here. Armbands are still to be worn during the event to indicate that you have completed the waiver. C. CHANGES TO YOUR REGISTRATION: If you have changes to any of your registration information and online registration is still open – go ahead and make changes in the MotorsportReg system. This will automatically correct the information that goes into the event file and will help shorten the lines at event check-in. If you need to make a change after online registration closes but before on-site check-in opens, email Tracy Lewis at tlewis@scca.com. D. DRIVER MEETING NOTES: There will be at least four (4) ProLaunch/Novice Huddles; two on Friday, one Saturday morning and a final one on Sunday morning. Novices are encouraged to attend all huddles. Review the event schedule for the times. Changes to the event details and other items of information as well as the names of all event officials will be included in the material provided on the event page at SCCA.com. IT IS A COMPETITOR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE EVENT PAGE AT SCCA.COM FOR CHANGES TO THE SUPPLEMENTAL REGULATIONS. E. PENALTIES FOR INCORRECT NUMBERS OR BARCODES: F. ENTRANTS AS WORKERS: ProSolo Rules Rule 20.10.D Early work assignments that offset a normal work assignment must be pre-approved by the Event Chairman and/or staff. These assignments must be extremely limited to prevent loss of critical support during the event. Serving as a volunteer prior to the event is greatly appreciated and a key element in the success of this event. However, this does not automatically offset a normal work assignment. G. WORKER MEETING NOTES: Workers will report to the Worker Chief at the Visit Lincoln Drivers' Center (Tech area) during the middle of the last group that is running prior to their assigned work shift. Shift A workers will report 20 minutes prior to the start of the event. Failure to report on time will result in an additional work assignment after the finish of the last shift on that day. Not complying with these rules will result in disqualification. It is possible that your work assignment within your shift may have changed due to cancellations or class changes. A flag will be raised at the Visit Lincoln Drivers' Center to let you know it is time to check in and that someone is available to get you checked in. Specialty areas (Grid, Timing, Impound, Sound & Safety) will check in with their chiefs. The worker sheet will be posted at the Visit Lincoln Drivers' Center, on the Sportity app and on the SCCA event page online when check-in closes so competitors can verify work assignments. It is your responsibility to know when you should report for your work assignment. A. VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY: Competition is open to all vehicles conforming to the Open, Open Index, and Ladies Index National classes and National Supplemental classes, as defined by the 2024 ProSolo Rules. B. DECALS: C. TECH PROCEDURES: D. PENALTIES FOR INCORRECT NUMBERS OR BARCODES: E. IMPOUND PROCEDURES: F. SOUND POLICY: Refer to Solo Rules Rule Appendix I. Sound requirements are strictly enforced. Rationale: Members are asked to realize that sound level measurements are designed to help us be good neighbors to those that work or live near our events. It is not intended as a "gotcha!" to catch drivers unaware. All competitors should come to the event in good faith with appropriate equipment keeping sound levels below the limit. Intentionally "pushing the envelope" of sound levels is in poor taste and puts our sites at risk. Exceptions to Appendix I of the Solo Rules, 2nd and 3rd paragraphs: If a vehicle exceeds 97 dBA on any run during a session, the Sound Steward or their designated representative will notify that driver of any measurement over 97 dBA in Impound after runs are completed for that session. (2-driver cars are considered as 2 individual cars.) If a vehicle exceeds 100 dBA on any run during a session, that driver will be allowed an attempt to reduce the sound level of the vehicle before their next session. (A "time-out" per ProSolo rules section 20.10.H.15 may be used.) If a viable remedy has been attempted in the judgment of the Sound Steward or representative, the driver will be allowed to run in their next session. If the driver declines any "repair action" or the "repair" is deemed inadequate by the Sound Steward or representative, the driver will forfeit all subsequent runs in that vehicle (unless an adequate "repair action" is completed before the next session). If the vehicle exceeds 100 dBA again during a run in any subsequent session, that session will be scored DSQ (disqualified) for all runs. If a sound violation incurs a DSQ for a session, any rerun(s) taken will also be DSQ and the sound-based DSQ will stand. The number of reruns taken will be subtracted from the next remaining session. G. TIMING AND SCORING: Refer to ProSolo Rules Section 20.10.J You must register for contingencies each year through the SCCA website, prior to competing for all Silver Gold, and Platinum contingency programs. In some cases, you'll need to register with the sponsor as well, so please read each program's registration requirements carefully. Decals will be available at tech inspection during each event. Bronze programs require registering and receiving decals directly from that sponsor, please refer to the program descriptions for more information. Online registration closes at 3:00 pm Central, Tuesday prior to the event. After online registration closes, you can still register for the event on-site during regular registration times on the day prior to the competition. Please note, there will be a late entry fee imposed on all on-site registrations. If the event is already full we will follow the waitlist policy (see below). Car numbers selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one- or two-digit numbers will be allowed (i.e., 1 through 99). Exception: Where there are two drivers in one car, in one class, then the second driver MUST be 100 plus the first driver's number (99 and 199). The Motorsportsreg.com system does not allow drivers to reserve their co-driver's number. With that, if there is a conflict where someone signs up for a number and someone else who is not the co-driver signs up for the corresponding number, the person that signed up first for either the two or three-digit number is the owner of that combination. If you notice a discrepancy in numbers, please contact Tracy Lewis (tlewis@scca.com). Motorsportreg.com provides the date/time of registrations to determine who registered first and is the rightful owner of the number combination. If desired, drivers of the same car but in different classes (open and ladies) may use the same car number. Drivers of the same car in the same class must submit separate entries. Car numbers above 199 are not allowed at National Solo events. All cancellations must be made in writing. Partial refunds (SCCA keeps $50) for cancellations IF: NO REFUNDS for cancellations IF: If you are sick, please stay home. We appreciate your desire to keep the Solo community healthy. The Tire Rack SCCA National Solo events (ProSolo, National Tour, CAM Autocross Challenge) are adopting a revised waitlist policy for 2024: For any event that is not sold out, on-site registration is allowed on the day prior to competition. All on-site registrations will be charged the event late fee (see event registration page for pricing). Car and class changes are allowed at check-in on the day prior to competition. Any car or class changes on the days of competition require the approval of the Chief Steward for the event.Event Schedule
